My number ONE superpower is that I can make kids laugh! I play games and make farty noises and even the shy kids can’t resist my silliness. I never ask a child to ‘look at me and smile’. I don’t have to! A photo session with me is just like a fun playdate, often when we’re done, the little one would ask: when do we have to start taking pictures?
My number TWO superpower is that I’m REALLY GOOD at taking pictures. Don’t just take my word for it! I am an Associate level Professional Photographer with AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography). I have won a number of photography awards over the years, and have recently been awarded the AIPP 2019 Family Photographer of the Year Finalist.
My number THREE superpower is that I'm an expert in interior design. I worked as an Architect for 12 years before becoming a photographer full time in 2011. Now I specialise in creating artwork for your home that are joyful, whimsical, and artistic. But most importantly, customised to suit your style and decor perfectly.
My studio is located in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, (Forest Hill to be exact), but I’m happy to travel as long as it’s not too far. Come and book a session with me, it’ll be just like a play date!
P.s. If you're planning to do newborn photos, it is super important that you choose a photographer who is an experienced and qualified newborn photographer.
I have completed The Certificate in Newborn Photography, which consists of 20 subjects pertaining to Birth, Newborn Health & Safety, and Workplace Health & Safety.
I have also completed an Infant CPR and First Aid Certificate, Covid-19 Infection Control Training Certificate, and am fully immunised with all vaccines recommended by health.vic.gov.au for people working with babies and children: Whooping Cough, measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox, hepatitis A & B, and seasonal flu vaccines.
I always keep my vaccinations are up to date, as well as my Work With Children's Card.
SESSION INFO & PORTFOLIO will show you all the different services I offer, depending on the age of your children, how many people are being photographed (immediate or extended family), and whether you prefer to be photographed indoors or outdoors. There are details about each type of session, and many images to inspire you.
'Our son’s normally shy when it comes to meeting new people. With Jina’s bubbly personality and games she plays while she takes photos, he warmed up to her instantly. Jina’s photos are of high quality and she made the whole photo selection process seamless. I highly recommend her.' - Nam Lam (Google Review)
