Congratulations! What an exciting time!

I remember that despite the many little inconveniences (clothes not fitting, constantly going to the toilet, swollen feet, not allowed to eat sashimi, etc. etc.), being pregnant was an amazing experience. I was waddling like a duck, but secretly I felt like a beautiful nurturing goddess.

I'm a Melbourne-based maternity photographer and I would be honoured to capture this magical time for you through my expertise in maternity photography. 

The best time to schedule your maternity photography session is at around 28-37 weeks when your tummy is nice and round, and you feel good before the downward venture begins.

I offer a variety of maternity photography session styles to choose from so you can pick your favourite and make the most of this special time.

Melbourne Maternity Photographer

STUDIO MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

This is a 30-minute maternity photography session at my studio, where partners and children are always welcome to join in on the fun.

You might prefer your photographs to be feminine and romantic, or you might want me to capture the playful interactions of your family in candid natural photographs as you anticipate the arrival of your newborn baby. Alternatively, we can turn up the studio lights and have fun with a high fashion photoshoot, or embrace the dark and create some dramatic artistic fine-art black and white photographs. While I don't offer in-house hair and makeup services, I can recommend some amazing makeup artists in the Melbourne area that I've worked with in the past. Their services range from $100-$250, depending on the level of hair and makeup required. Plus, I have a collection of gorgeous maternity dresses and wraps available for client use in my studio, perfect for achieving that feminine and romantic look. The session fee is $150. This does NOT include any prints or digital files. However, it does include a $100 book-online-bonus-credit for you to put towards albums, wall arts, or a digital package if you make the booking via the online booking calendar below. Family Photo in Bushland Park Melbourne

BUSHLAND MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

The Bushland Maternity Photography Session is especially suitable if you have an energetic older child.

We meet at Blacks Walk Reserve in Blackburn for a gentle walk, stopping frequently as we find suitable light & backgrounds.

Your session takes roughly 45 minutes, it can be filled with cuddles and giggles, or romantic flowing gowns. We'll make sure to capture this special time for you to treasure. 

If you would like to make use of one of the beautiful Maternity dresses from my studio wardrobe, I even have a portable pop-up change tent for you to change in privacy and comfort. 

The photography session fee is $150. This does NOT include any prints or digital files. STORYTELLING MATERNITY PHOTO SESSION 

One of my favourite memories is preparing our home for the arrival of my baby Zoe. We read lots of books with my son about welcoming a new baby to our family; we assembled her cot and bassinet; we put her name up on her nursery door; we ooohed and ahhhed over the many cute outfits and gifts from friends and family; we obsessed over her ultrasound scan photos; we snuggled on the couch a lot; and sometimes I would stretch my back on the floor while my son drives Thomas (the tank engine) over my big belly mountain. 

How are you preparing for your baby's arrival? Let me tell your story and preserve these memories in pictures. 

The session fee is $250 for a 2 hour session, or $490 for a 4 hour session.
